Born in 1928 on the Isle of Man, Toni Onley came to Canada in 1948. He has exhibited regularly in Canada and around the world since 1958, and his work can be found in the collections of the Vancouver Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Canada, the Museum of Modern Art (New York City), the Royal Albert and Victorian Museum, (London, England), the Tate Gallery, (London, England), the Library of Congress, (Washington, D.C.), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the National Galleries of Canada and Africa. Toni Onley's work was also the opening show for the Canadian embassy in Tokyo, Japan. |
